Work Flow

Work Flow capabilities play a significant role in reducing and eliminating paper to streamline the process of moving information between staff.  The Work Flow capabilities in Web@Work are particularly useful in automating processes that require multiple steps to complete.  Some examples include the new hire process, ordering office supplies, wire transfer requests, expense reports and the like.

A Work Flow will contain specific tasks and steps that you want Web@Work to perform for any given process.  For example, a “New Hire” workflow can collect hire data from new staff, forward this to HR, route a request to IT for access to file servers and systems, notify building maintenance to request keys, submit an order for business cards, and more.

Work Flows have the ability to present forms, forward form content for review and approval, and generate email notifications -- all based on activities you choose.  Best of all, at any time during the process, you can easily identify who has the responsibility to complete a given step.

Using Work Flow, you have the added benefit of a secure and standardized way of managing processes in the organization.  In addition, it automatically records and archives the steps for audit and management reporting.
